It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Van VanZant Jr. in Cleveland, Mississippi, born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father George Huddleston VanZant, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Frances L. VanZant; his wife Evelyn VanZant; his sister Lisa VanZant; and his children, Becca VanZant, Thomas VanZant and Ethan VanZant.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Van's name to Mission to North America, Mission to the World, Reformed University Fellowship, and the Baptist Student Union.
