It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Trudie Routh Weeks (Cleveland, Mississippi), born in Rosedale, Mississippi, who passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her fathers, Earl Routh and Leo Routh; her son Johnny Weeks; and her siblings, Dot Hester (Austin), Phyllis Trahan (Alcee) and Benson Dexter (Cornelia).
She is survived by: her husband Charles Weeks; her sons, Rick Weeks (Vickey) and Mike Weeks (Tiffany); her grandchildren, Jessica Williamson (Lance), Erin Busby (Brooks), Michael Weeks (Sarah Katherine), Matthew Weeks and Shaun Swenson; her great grandchildren, Tate Williamson, Lydia Williamson, Baker Busby, Lincoln Busby and John David Weeks; and her siblings, Earl "Boone" Routh (Yvonne) and Sara Barnes (Charles).
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ray Funeral Home (206 Bishop Rd, Cleveland, MS 38732). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Delta Heights Memorial Gardens (1100 S Davis Ave, Cleveland, MS 38732).
In lieu of flowers donations made be made to Yale Street Baptist Church and The Women's Resource Center.
