He was predeceased by: his father Sam Edward Ballard Sr.; and also Mary Marie Ballard. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Ballard; his son Johnathan Davis; his stepsons, Ken Ray Woods, Chuck Woods (Christy), Jason Woods (Camille) and Cody Woods (Amanda); and his sisters, Sandra Prince and Jeannie Johnson (Rex). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the North Cleveland Cemetery N Bayou (1098 Old Hwy 61, Cleveland, MS 38732).
