He was predeceased by: his parents, Connie Frank McDaniel and Jewel Hood McDaniel; his wife Sandra Jean Hutchinson McDaniel; his sons, DeWayne Clevenger and Sydney Ladell McDaniel; and his siblings, Dot Holbrook, Martha Tyson, Florence Gainspoletti, Connie Ruth Ray, Henry McDaniel, Ronnie McDaniel and Larry McDaniel.
He is survived by: his children, Angie Gregory (Henry) of Cleveland, MS and Troy McDaniel of Sheffield Lake, OH; his daughter-in-law Beverly Lorance Clevenger of Greenwood, MS; his sisters, Jewel "Dolly" Ruth of Louisville, MS and Linda M. Smith of Cleveland, MS.; his grandchildren, Clayton Gregory (Miranda), Leah Johnson (Brandon), Robbie McDaniel and Mary Slay McDaniel; and his great grandchildren, Piper Johnson, Asher Johnson, Sawyer Johnson and Violet Gregory. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home (3463 MS-8, Cleveland, MS 38732). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel (3463 MS-8, Cleveland, MS 38732).
