He was predeceased by: his parents, Tarrantt Lafayette Edwards and Genova Weatherall Edwards; and his siblings, Bobbie Sue Barlow, Marginell Tanner, Johnnie Pearl Picard, Maurgarite Edwards and Billy Edwards.
He is survived by: his son Leo Pittman Edwards Jr. (Deanna) of Cleveland, Mississippi.; and his grandchildren, Leo Pittman "Trace" Edwards III, John Butler Edwards and Sara Peyton Edwards.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ray Funeral Home (206 Bishop Rd, Cleveland, MS 38732). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Itta Bena City Cemetery (901 Schley St, Itta Bena, MS 38941).
