She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha York Sr. and Harvey York; her husbands, Richard Lamar "Buddy" Smith and Homer G Gordon; and her siblings, Tommy York, Harvey York Jr., Billy York and Omagee Farrell.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Smith (Alma) of Greenville, MS, Diane Furtick and Betty Britt (Latham) of Cleveland, MS; her grandchildren, Hannah Estes Aguzzi (Michael) of Cleveland, MS, Carey Estes (Holly) of Cleveland, MS, Lindsay R Birch (Jordan) of Drummonds, TN, Cody Smith (Rachael) of Washington, D. C., Matthew Britt (Kamaran) and Joseph Britt of Cleveland, MS; her brother Carl York (Patricia) of Gunnison, MS; and her great grandchildren, Colby Allen Dreher and Carey David Estes.
