She was predeceased by: her parents, Kelsey Thompson and Monella Thompson; her husband Adrian "Cotton" Sappington; her son Donald Sappington; and her siblings, Howard Thompson, C. W. Thompson, Ethel Lester, Naisy Brunetti and Frances Wisner.
She is survived by: her son Charles Larry Sappington (Marjorie); and her siblings, Robert Thompson, Shirley Wisner (Ray), Betty Larner (Bill) and Nell White. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
