She was predeceased by: her parents, Lora Lou Crosby Griffith and William Houston Griffith; her daughter Karen Griffith Tarver; her siblings, Evelyn Griffith Brown (Dowe), Milton Griffith (Lois) and James Griffith (Gwen); and her daughter-in-law Nancy Tarver.

She is survived by: her nephew Dowe A. "Bubba" Brown; her son Mike Tarver Tarver (Cindy); her sister Barbara Griffith Roberts; her granddaughters, Teri Mims (Jackie) and Traci Cummins (Joseph); and her niece Laura Griffin. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
