It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Nickell in Cleveland, Mississippi, who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lexie Nickell and Altha Nickell; and his wife Doris Sue Nickell. He is survived by: his daughters, Eleanor Gayle Phiffer (Zane), Wendy Nickell Miller and Ashley Nickell McNutt (Matt); and his siblings, Conrad Nickell (Mary), Rayburn Nickell (Sue) and Lois Nickell Howard (Tommy). He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ray Funeral Home (206 Bishop Rd, Cleveland, MS 38732). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the North Cleveland Cemetery (1098 Old Hwy 61, Cleveland, MS 38732).
