She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Virgil Gilbert and Annie Mae Brown Gilbert; her husband Ralph Tyler; her son Ryan Tyler; her brother Robert Kenneth Gilbert; and her close friend Evelyn Kendall.
She is survived by: her children, James and Michelle T. Enriquez; her grandson Nathan Allen Enriquez; her siblings, Mary Elizabeth "Snooks" Jones of Holcomb and John Harley "Rassal" Gilbert (Louise) of Greenwood, Mississippi.; and her sister-in-law Barbara Everhart (Henry) of West Helena, AR.
