She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Joe Howard; her parents, Dewey Peeples and Otie Peeples; and her sister Charlene P. Twiner. She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Howard Chapin of Madison; her granddaughters, Jo Anna Macke (Nate) of Madison and Jennifer Chapin (Chase Ouzts) of Madison, Mississippi.; and her brother Jack Peeples of Cleveland, Mississippi.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home (3463 MS-8, Cleveland, MS 38732). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Cleveland Cemetery N Bayou (1098 Old Hwy 61, Cleveland, MS 38732).
