She is survived by: her husband William Lloyd Thompson; her sons, Tim Thompson (Melissa) of Cleveland, MS and Dale Wayne Cole (Brenda) of Anchorage, AK.; her grandchildren, William Hunter Thompson, Dane Cole, Joli Luna (Kenneth), Michael Cole (Jen), Brian Cole, Sara Elixson, Julian Rocconi (Shelby) and John Douglas Estes III; her great grandchildren, Audrey Rocconi, Zulai Cole, Natalia Gomez, Kaitlynn Lulay, Addison Paeth, Sterlynn Luna, Alicia Hall, Katelyn Alexander, Alexander Cole, Jonathan Cole and Tristan; her sister-in-law Peggy Hinchey; and her daughter-in-law Debra Cole.
Emma enjoyed a distinguished career, serving as the CEO of Medical Park Family Group and Primary Care Associates, where she made significant contributions to the healthcare sector from 1960 to 1991.
