She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennie Lee Blount and Cecil Blount; her siblings, Kathy Dill and Cecil Blount, Jr.; and her husband Mike Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Sheri Gentry of Oxford, MS and Jason Bassie (Elizabeth) of Cleveland, MS; her siblings, Brenda Blount of Oxford, MS and Mike Blount (Helen) of Cropwell, AL; her niece Candice Dill of Oxford, MS; her nephew Michael Blount of Huntsville, AL; and her grandchildren, Braelyn Gentry, Haley, Hannah Bassie and Jack Kossman. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home (3463 MS-8, Cleveland, MS 38732). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel (3463 MS-8, Cleveland, MS 38732).
