He is survived by: his mother Mildred Gatlin Smith of Cleveland, MS; his wife Vickie Kemp Smith of Cleveland, MS; his daughter Lydia Smith Powell (Michael); his grandsons, Jennings of Cleveland, MS. and Charles "Chuck" Powell of Cleveland, MS.; his sisters, Sara Kemp (David) of Strong, AR and Sheila Millican (Mitch) of Cleveland; his parents-in-law, Truett and Ruby Kemp; and his sister-in-law Rhonda Woodward.
