It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Staten Goss of Cleveland, Mississippi, born in Ruleville, Mississippi, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Staten and Eloise Price Soto; and her sister Wanda Pulliam. She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Laura Stringer (Jeremiah) of Las Vegas and Samantha Montemayor of Boyle; and her siblings, Mary Vandeventer Hendricks (David) of Bloomfield, Indiana, George Staten of Indianapolis, Dion Staten (Jennifer) of Trafalgar, Ike Soto (Angie) of Greenville, Dawn Smith (Rick) of Indianapolis and Tammy Davis (Isaac) of Boyle. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
