He was predeceased by: his parents, Clint Jones and Irene Jones; his wife Katie Elizabeth "Libby" Reid Jones; and his brother Elvin Jones. He is survived by: his children, Amy Jones of Cleveland, MS and John R. "Rock" Jones of Benoit, MS; his grandchildren, Jessica Ray Griffin (Trent) of Cleveland, MS, John R. "Rock" Jones Jr. of Benoit, MS and Presley McCain Utz of Cleveland, MS; and his great grandchildren, John Braxton Ray and Mary Paxton Griffin.
