He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Carlene McCain Smith; his daughter Amy Smith Wells; his siblings, Charles Smith, James Wallace Smith, Sydney Earl Smith, Harold Smith Marion Smith, Howard Smith, Rose Wilkerson and Nell Hollingsworth Linda Rocconi; and his grandson Mark Rush.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Gant Smith of Cleveland, MS; his daughter Joyce Rush (Tommy) of Grenada; his sister Brenda Browning of Millington, TN; and his grandchildren, Amanda Gillis (Tim) and Mallory Byrd (Davis). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID restrictions, limited people access and masks will be worn.
