It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Wayne Beacham (Clarksdale, Mississippi), who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Lee White Beacham and Thomas Henry Beacham; his stepfather Thomas Stanford Hayes Junior; and his grandparents, Henry Wayne Beacham, Ruby Lulu Dexter Beacham, William Hardy White and Fannie Pearl Thomas White.

He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas "Tripp" Stanford Hayes, III (Paige) of Clarksdale, Tracy Hayes Buchanan (Joey) of Oxford and Alicia Brooke Hayes Merkel (Charles) of Oxford; his nieces and nephews, Olivia Hayes Hughes (Tripp) of Clarksdale, Martha "Kate" Kathryn Hayes, Mary Claire Lee Hayes of Brooklyn, NY, Lila White Merkel of Oxford, Hampton Hayes Buchanan and Joseph "Joe" Thomas Buchanan of Oxford; his uncle Harry Felder Beacham (Jane) of McComb; and his aunt Ruby Winston "Sissy" Beacham of Gulfport. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Shack Up Inn (001 Commissary Cir Rd, Clarksdale, MS 38614).

“Bill was my friend since junior high. We became close in his school. We had lots of adventures riding motorcycles. Bill and I did my first road trip on a motorcycle.
