He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jean Marquis; his parents, James Alvin and Eddie Lee Marquis; and his brother Jimmy Marquis. He is survived by: his children, Sheri L. Marquis Jones (Ralf) of Pflugerville, TX, William Ellis Marquis II of Demopolis, AL and Judy A. Marquis of Pflugerville, TX. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
