He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Ellard and Mildred Young Ellard; his son Terry Michael Ellard; and his siblings, Dale Ellard, Maude Smith and Linda Shaddox.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Long Ellard of Marks, MS; his children, Brian Ellard (April) of Jonesboro, AR, Pat Rankin (Tim) of Clarksdale, MS, Pam Hunt (James) of Brandon, MS, Vanessa Ashley (Kris) of Brandon, MS and Michelle Bamberg (Josh) of Marks, MS; and his grandchildren, Meri Claire Soldevila (Derek), Abbey Rankin, Jackson Ellard, Peyton Ellard, Lauren Hunt, Kailyn Outlaw (Heath), Madison Hunt, Leah Vernon (Michael), Laney Currie (Jake), Brantley Bamberg, Breland Bamberg and Emma Bamberg. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
