With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tennie Sudduth Self (Clarksdale, Mississippi), who passed away on April 19, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Sudduth and Essie Rush Sudduth; her daughter Audrey Wilburn; her husband David C. Self; and her siblings, Frazier, Bertha, Willena and Allie.
She is survived by: her children, Howrhu Marcus (Carolyn) of Cherry Hill, NJ, David Cornelius (Melvina) of Tallahassee, FL, Olenza McBride (Leroy) of Memphis, TN and Juan Self (Chardell) of Memphis, TN; her sister Lavoria Caldwell of Philadelphia, PA; and her grandchildren, Viveca, Henry, Marcus, Roderick, Leroy, Corey, Kirsten, Howrhu, Asha, Ramsey, Bernice, Joshua, David and Israel. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
