He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Dean McDaniel; his parents, Homer McDaniel and Lona McDaniel; his son Robert McDaniel; and his siblings, Billy McDaniel, G. W. McDaniel, Edilene Stingly Millan, Bernice McDaniel Conley and Thelma McDaniel Jobe.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky McDaniel (Lynn) of Van Buren, AR, Ken "Bulldog" McDaniel of Coldwater, MS, Brian Keith McDaniel (Sheila) of Monticello, AR, Jimmy Early of Marvel, AR and Sherri Fowler (Tommy) of West Point, MS; his brother Clyde McDaniel (Lil) of Rena Lara, MS; and his grandchildren, Reid McDaniel, Rhys McDaniel, Emma McDaniel, Jordan McDaniel and Brooklyn McDaniel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
