It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lee McKnight (Clarksdale, Mississippi), who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Allen and Josephine Graham McKnight; and his brothers, Andrew Graham, Dewey McKnight and Allen McKnight.
He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Richard McKnight (Angela) of Somerville, TN, Jeffrey Scott McKnight (Stanimira) of Covington, LA and Lee Richard McKnight of Whiteville, TN; his sisters, Sue Carol Mauney (David) of Searcy, AR, Nancy Blaylock of Hoover, AL and Nina Giger (Phil) of Monroe, LA; and his grandchildren, Alexis Leann McKnight and Olivia Paige McKnight.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home (314 E 2nd St, Clarksdale, MS 38614). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
