She is survived by: her husband Jack Franks; her son Jef Shields of Little Rock, AR; her sister Linda Tolar Cox (Gerry) of Sumter, SC; her stepchildren, Robert Franks of Oxford, MS and Jennifer Miller of Southaven, MS; and her grandchildren, Rilan Shields and Paxton Shields.
