It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Gene Craven (Clarksdale, Mississippi), who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Cyrus Craven and Rosemary Leatherbury Craven; and his great grandchildren, Cohen Pearson and Jamie McBeth. He is survived by: his wife Steele Mays Craven; his sister Hermine Craven Jones of Cypress, Texas; his children, Cristen Craven Barnard (Robert) of Senatobia, Taylor Herman Craven (Alice) of Ocean Springs and Dr. Rosemary Craven Lamb (Chuck) of Clarksdale; and his grandchildren, Chad Pearson (Amy), Tres Barnard (Gracie), Chris Barnard (Elizabeth), Lindsey Barnard, Rachael Barnard Lux, Jerrie Marie Fyfe (Charlie), Jake Craven, Adrian Rosemary McBeth (Will), Darby Lamb and Leah Rybolt (Hunter). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
