He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolou Henry Gerald and James Decell Gerald, Sr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas Henry Gerald of Lompoc, CA and Carolyn Gerald Swartzwelder of Metairie, LA.; and his children, James Decell "Jimbo" Gerald, Cynthia Gerald Freeman (Brian) of New Albany, MS, David Kelton Gerald of Tyler, TX and William Carey Gerald (Jennifer) of Hackleburg, AL.. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
