He was predeceased by: his parents, Walton Beam and Mayme L. Beam; his brothers, Charles, John, Elwood and Richard Beam; and his granddaughter Jayme Beam.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Beam; his children, Patsy Johnson (Gene) of Memphis, Beverly Magliano (Phil) of Eureka, CA and George Harrison Beam, Jr. (Pete) of Senatobia; his stepsons, Chris Doss (Lisa) of Clarksdale and Mark Doss (Vickie) of Rena Lara; and his sister Faye Spurr (Bill) of Memphis. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rena Lara Baptist Church.
