Elzie Gene was predeceased by: parents, William Winters and Bertha Self Winters; son James Osman; and siblings, James Winters, William Winters, Jr., Elaine Ellenburg and Louise Reynolds.
Elzie Gene is survived by: wife Joyce Winters; children, Elzie Gene Winters, Jr. of Oxford, MS, Kevin Osman (Michele) of Greenville, MS and Stephanie Blount (John) of Ft. Smith, AR; and siblings, Jessie Winters of Texarkana, TX, Dennis Winters of Batesville, MS, Patricia Russell of Clarksdale, MS, Claire Ware of Sardis, MS, Ruby Barnhart of New Boston, TX and Shirley Weaver of Haughton, LA. Elzie Gene is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
