She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ben Yeats and Sallie Bowen Yeats; her husband Wilbur Ray Stringer; her siblings, George Yeats, Lilla Waters, Lois Yeats, Ethel Day, Lea Cooper of Liza Yeats, L. J and Otha Yeats; and her sister-in-law Christine Howard.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Stewart Stringer (Carolyn) of Clarksdale and Gregory Ray Stringer (Susan) of Divide; her grandchildren, John Stewart Stringer of Jackson and Kristen Stringer Webb (Craig) of Nashville; and her great grandchild Bowen Pearce Webb of Nashville. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
