He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Irwin Cox of Clarksdale, MS; his children, Michael Cox (Deanna) of Brazil, MS and Wendy Cox Smith (Danny) of Tunica, MS; his stepsons, Irwin Burton (Malinda) of Marion, AR and Robert Baine of Clarksdale, MS; his sisters, Mary Ella C. Cox Swindoll, Polly Ann Cox Horton and Thelma Jean Cox Babineaux; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Smith Moore and Catie Cox Clark. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.
