He is survived by: his children, Charles Freeland Newton, III (Cassandra), Benjamin Lewis Newton, Sara Newton and Cassidy Doughtery; his sisters, Delilah Hollis Brower (Ronnie) and Farrah Ferguson (Scott); his grandchildren, Marley Newton (Jacob), Aila Newton, Ava Grace Doughtery, Noah Doughtery, Kristin Newton (David), Katelynn Watts (Alex), Soloman Newton and Kaidyn Newton; his great grandchildren, Aurora Gordon and Elijah Watts (Charlotte Pruitt Sullivan); his nephews, Ron Brower (Stacey) and Dylan Brower (Trista); his niece Shannon Brower (Matt); and also Freedy.
