He was predeceased by: his wife Lillie Williams; his parents, George W. Strohm and Virginia Pollard Strohm; and his siblings, George "Curry" Strohm, Fred Strohm, Robert Strohm, Eddie Strohm, Hazel White and Lucille Mooney (Jimmy Jones).
He is survived by: his children, Bill Strohm (Sheila) of Dundee, MS and Tracy Ivy (Chris) of Clarksdale, MS.; his grandchildren, Samantha Corso (Cory), Mary Evan Byrd (Alec), Nathaniel Strohm and Maggie Ivy; and his great grandchild Anderson Corso.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home (314 E 2nd St, Clarksdale, MS 38614). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oakridge Cemetery.
Billy was a graduate of Delta State University and continued to be an avid supporter throughout his years, serving on the Foundation Board of Directors from 2000 to 2003.
