He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearline Marion, and Theodis Marion, Sr.; his sons, Arthur Marion, Jr. and Daryl Marion; and his brothers, James, Willie Marion and Joe Stevenson.
He is survived by: his wife Inez Hampton-Marion; his siblings, Rosie Williams, Jannie Cobbs (Calvin), Shirley Johnson, Elois Spencer (James), Robert Marion, Theodis, Jr. Marion (Linda) and Terrance Marion; his grandchildren, Kimberly Marion, Tiarra Clark, Shakiya Clark, Rodney Marion, Zekayria Marion, Karim Marion, Ashton Hankins and Ma'Lyric Sykes; and his close friend Debra Marion. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
