He was predeceased by: his wives, Fleeta Gressett and Margarett Gressett; his sons, Phillip Gressett and Brad Gressett; his grandchildren, Stacy Gressett and Micah Gressett; his parents, Clyde Gressett and Clara Fitzgerald Gressett; and his siblings, McArthur Gressett, Angie Lewis (James Edward) and Alice Lucovich (Pete).
He is survived by: his children, Brian Gressett of Hattiesburg, Tammy Walters (Tim) of Harvest, AL and Susan Rathel (Charles) of Bainbridge, GA; his daughter-in-law Joyce Gressett; his grandchildren, Steve Walters, Chane Rathel (Rhonda), Andy Doss, Chad Rathel (Allison), Cabe Rathel, Karen Massey, Stacy Walters, Hannah Gressett, Misty Smith and Haley Rathel; his great grandchildren, Trey Walters, Harper Rice of Harrison Rice, A. J, Frankie Doss, Callan Rathel and Halle Rathel; and his brothers, Jerry Gressett (Diane) of Carthage and Sam Gressett of Meridian. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
