She was predeceased by: her parents, A. B. Thompson and Jean Culpepper Thompson; her sister Joyce Rogers; and her granddaughter Allyson Gressett. She is survived by: her husband Gary Fisher of Chunky; her children, Steve Gressett (Wendy) of Hickory, Gary Fisher, Jr. of Orlando, FL and Kim Brackeen (Mike) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Cody Bryant (Kellye), Katie Buckley (Bo), Ashley McCormick (Seth), Arin Brackeen, Cody Gressett (Catherine), Dylan Neal, Daniel Bryant, Chandler Thomas and Landin Brackeen; and her sisters, Gail Henson of Meridian and Betty Clark (Johnny) of Chunky. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Newton County Funeral Home - South (100 Old Hwy 15 Loop, Newton, MS 39345). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Newton County Funeral Home - South Chapel (100 Old Hwy 15 Loop, Newton, MS 39345). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at the Chunky Cemetery (465 Adams St, Chunky, MS 39323).
