He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Young and Nellie Young; his wife Lizzie Bess; and his daughter Linda Melton. He is survived by: his sister Bobbie Savage of Charleston; and his grandsons, Bob Melton (Angie) of Fisherville, KY and Heath Melton of Charleston, MS.. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
