He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan B. Hardy and Ora Hardy; his son Michael Lamar "Mike" Hardy; and his brothers, Joe, Sonny and Bill Hardy.
He is survived by: his son Raymond Hardy (Marie) of Charleston, MS; his grandchildren, Michael Hardy, Heather Walker (Mike) and Mary Beth Hardy; his brother Dickey Hardy (Carrie Ann) of Germantown, TN; and his close friend Louise Clark of Charleston, MS.. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
