We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Mary Crofford Burnett Sims of Charleston, Mississippi. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Florence Burnett; her husband Denton Sims; her father Jess Burnett, Sr.; her brothers, Jess Burnett, Jr., John and Joe Burnett; and her son-in-law Jim Jackson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Robbie Schuchard (Charlie) of Little Rock, AR and Laura Jackson of Oxford; her grandchildren, Scott Schuchard (Michelle) of Little Rock, Mary Margaret Schuchard Rogers (Tyler) of Signal Mountain, TN, Mary Elizabeth Jackson of Memphis, TN and Sims Jackson of Jackson, TN; her great grandchildren, Eleanor, Weston, Mary Diana Schuchard, Callum, David and Beckett Rogers; her sister-in-law Martha Burnett of Oxford; and her godson Eddie Vause of Oxford. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be at Charleston Cemetery on Saturday, August 15 at 4:00 p. m. *In accordance with guidelines issued by the State of Mississippi, social distancing guidelines will be followed and face coverings should be worn. If you or someone living with you is experiencing fever, cough or other symptoms related to COVID 19, have tested positive for COVID 19 or are awaiting test results for COVID 19, we kindly ask that you do not attend.*.
