We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2020, Martha Morgan of Charleston, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Mounce and Freda Hall Mounce. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Earl Morgan; her daughters, Teresa Newsom (Jody) of Charleston, MS, Jeanne Monday (Joe) of Oakland, MS, Debra Morgan of Charleston, MS and Diana Shute of Long Beach, MS; her grandchildren, Morgan Newsom (Gretchen) of Charleston, MS, Cassidy Todd (Ricky) of Southaven, MS, Chase Savage of Annapolis, MD and Thomas Lewis of Charleston, MS; her great grandchildren, Gabby Clolinger, Carol Anna Todd and Brooks Todd; and her siblings, Henry Mounce (Barbara) of Paynes, MS and Fran Whitely (Ken) of Colleyville, TX. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a private visitation for immediate family at Newsom Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Charleston City Cemetery in Charleston, MS to allow friends and family to safely social distance.
Memorial contributions may be made to Charleston City Cemetery for upkeep and beautification.
