She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmie E. Porter; her parents, Hayden Pernell and Margarette Pernell; her granddaughter Cheryl Farmer; and her sister Diane Parish.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Dickey (Tim) of Holcomb, MS, Phoebe Jim Baker (John) of Phillip, MS and Tansil Edward Porter Sr. (Kelly) of Phillip, MS. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
