She was predeceased by: her husband Dewitt Whitten; and her parents, Lawrence Mills and Velma McMinn Mills. She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Burkley (Tommy Burkley), Diane Stanford of Charleston, MS and Janice Avant (John) of Water Valley, MS; and her siblings, Linda Hargett of Mt. Home, AR, Bettie Pittman of Batesville, MS and Billy Mills of Batesville, MS.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.
