He was predeceased by: his son David Brunson; and his parents, W. T. Brunson and Geneva Brunson. He is survived by: his wife Olivia Wood Brunson; his children, Lynn Higginbotham (Scott) of Brandon and Joey Brunson of Charleston; his sister Pam McFerrin of Charleston; his grandchildren, Jessica Foreman (Steven), Ashley Surles (Bret), Brittany Brunson, Tyler Brunson (Jenny) and Justin Brunson; and his great grandchildren, Emma Weeks and Wesley Weeks.
