With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betsy R. Harris of Charleston, Mississippi, who passed away on October 16, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Clark and Alice Jones of Coffeeville, Mississippi.; her husband Dan Harris Jr.; her siblings, James Jones, Orbie Jones and Eula Smith; her children, Curtis Clark, Barbara Jean Harris and Andrew Harris; her grandsons, Brandon, Carlo and Kevin; and her great grandchild Jeremiah Ballard.
She is survived by: her siblings, Hattie Hogan and Monroe Jones; and her children, Freddie Clark (Betty), William Harris (Marie), Hazel Harris, Janie Ballard (Ronald), Forrest Harris (Carol), Monterry Harris (Cindy), Cynthia Harris Lanners, Druscilla Fleming, Shirley Payton and Alice Lee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a few great great-grandchildren.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a limited amount of guests will be allowed in the funeral chapel at a time.
