He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Meek and Eva King Meek; and his former wife Ann Wallace Meek. He is survived by: his wife Carol Gilbert Meek (Carr); his sons, John Wallace Meek (Annette), Charles Duane Meek, Glenn Randal Meek (Stacy) and Richard Kevin Meek (Kristy); and his grandchildren, Hailey Meek Shepherd (Joshua), Kristy Walls (Billy), Keith Epps, Jordan Meek, Morgan Meek Alford (Matthew), Cory Meek, Patton Meek and Chamblee Meek.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pascagoula Dixie Youth Baseball - an organization that meant so much to Charles. Those donations may be made at The First Bank, 1126 Jackson Ave., Pascagoula, MS.
