She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Goolsby and Nellie Goolsby; and her grandson Adain Dumas. She is survived by: her children, Johnny Goolsby, Jessica Dumas and Coy Wayne (Kitchens); her siblings, Sam, Tony, Johnny Goolsby, Mildred Risher and Iva Nell Wilcher; her grandchildren, Bayleigh Goolsby, Justin Goolsby, Brandy Kittrell, Radain Dumas, Blain "Clyde" Goolsby, Creed King and Job Goolsby; and her great grandchildren, Wrenligh and Dutton Johnson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ott & Lee Funeral Homes - Forest (295 E 1st St, Forest, MS 39074). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Antioch Baptist Cemetery (6931 MS-21, Forest, MS 39074).
