He was predeceased by: his parents, Delton Dyess and Helen Herrington Dyess; and his son Dean Reiter. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Dyess of Carson; his daughters, Angie Smith (Mitchell) of Carson and Brandi Niemeyer of Sumrall; and his siblings, Dale Dyess of Carson, Darrell Dyess of Carson, Elton Dyess of Sumrall and Sharon Brewer of Carson. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Old Greens Creek Cemetery.
