It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Lee Polk of Carson, Mississippi, who passed away on October 13, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Haynes and Edith Haynes. She is survived by: her sons, J. B. Holloway (Gloria) of Jackson, MS and Hollis Polk of Gulfport, MS; and her siblings, Frances Booth of Bassfield, MS, Lela Hall of Carson, MS, Yourlinda White of Prentiss, MS, Jessie Haynes of Prentiss, MS and Johnnie Haynes of Detroit, MI. She is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
