She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Bass and Zelma Dyess Bass; and her husband Lloyd Leon Dyess. She is survived by: her children, Virginia Dyess of Prentiss, Charlene McPhail (Thomas) of Prentiss, Peggy Wilson of Carson, Gayloyd Dyess of Carson, Thomas Dyess of Carson and John Dyess (Donna) of Kokomo; and her siblings, Hubert Bass of Utica and Lucille Dyess of Carson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
