She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward Perry and Maudie Mae Rico Perry; her husband James Lester Mitchell; and her brothers, John William Perry, R. B. Perry and Donald Brister Perry.
She is survived by: her children, Gail McKnight of Carrollton and Louie Rico, Jr. of Vaiden. She is also survived by two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
