She was predeceased by: her father Burton Becker; and her son Edwin Schmitz. She is survived by: her mother Kathryn Fueglein Becker; her husband L. G. Schmitz; and her sons, Burton Schmitz (Suzanne) of Jefferson, James Schmitz of North Carolina and Thomas Schmitz (Mami) of Tokyo, Japan. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
